Trainings & Certifications

CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
This course provides life-saving skills in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), basic First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use. Designed for healthcare professionals and caregivers, participants learn to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Certification meets OSHA and state health regulatory requirements.
80-Hour Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certification
This comprehensive training equips individuals to assist with daily living activities in various care settings. Covering personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility assistance, communication, and safety, this state-approved 80-hour program prepares students to provide compassionate care to clients in home care, assisted living, and other residential facilities.
Infection Control Training
A focused course that teaches best practices for preventing and controlling the spread of infectious diseases in healthcare settings. Topics include hand hygiene, PPE usage, standard precautions, transmission-based precautions, and outbreak response. Ideal for healthcare workers, caregivers, and facility staff in long-term care environments.
Diabetic Training
This training offers an in-depth understanding of diabetes management for caregivers and healthcare staff. Participants learn about types of diabetes, signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, blood glucose monitoring, dietary considerations, and insulin administration, ensuring safe and effective support for diabetic residents.
10-Hour Medication Administration Training
Approved by the state, this training allows unlicensed staff to assist residents with self-administration of medications in assisted living settings. It covers medication types, proper documentation, safety practices, and resident rights. Designed to meet North Carolina regulatory standards for ALFs and home care agencies.
15-Hour Medication Administration Training
This expanded course builds on the 10-hour program with additional instruction in controlled substances, special considerations for specific populations (e.g., dementia, mental health), and medication error prevention. It is ideal for facilities requiring more advanced competency in medication handling by staff.

Mock Surveys

State Regulated Mock Surveys for Employee and Staff Files
A preparatory service that simulates state inspections to ensure facilities are audit ready. I review employee files, training records, credentials, and policy compliance to identify gaps before actual surveys. This service helps avoid citations and improves readiness for DHHS, DHSR, and Medicaid reviews.
